“Sidetracked has been developed to show the other side of bands from the electronic genre who can, and do, DJ,” says Renaissance Geoff Oakes, “It’s an opportunity to offer a diverse, unique series, which makes Hercules & Love Affair the more than perfect choice to kick-start matters.”


There were only a handful of candidates to handle Renaissance’s 50th album milestone, but perhaps none more suited than Hernan Cattaneo.
His previous entries into the series have established themselves as true classics, giving rise to calls, emails, even PM’s to the Renaissance office imploring us to re-secure the talents of the legendary South American.


Satoshi hooks-up with Renaissance once again, marking their trilogy with another landmark mix, further confirming why he is considered a true master of house.


‘Renaissance: The Mix Collection’ began with THAT legendary mix from Sasha and John Digweed. The original presented a collection of music that wasn’t focused on current or unreleased tracks, rather something more tangible and longer lasting. Now the series returns, taking influence from its famed predecessor, whilst adding a surprising new element.


 
Mention Dave Seaman and thoughts of a Renaissance album are invariably never that far behind, so it’s fitting our most ‘capped’ player return to handle the honours for the 10th volume in the prestigious Masters Series.
